Meet Dr. Garrett
A native Wilmingtonian, Gregory B. Garrett, D.D.S., P.A. has called this area home for over 40 years. Following his graduation from John T. Hoggard High School, Dr. Garrett pursued his undergraduate and dental degrees at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then returned to his hometown to open his own family practice in 1996.
Since then, Dr. Garrett has been providing exceptional dental care to our community. He and his experienced staff are pleased to offer the latest dental treatment options for the whole family in a relaxed, comfortable environment that is sure to put any patient at ease.
In November 2009, Dr. Garrett completed 216 hours of continued education via the Triangle Dental Institute in the science of dental implants. The hours of continued education included lectures, workshops, and demonstrations on the sugrical placement and restoration of dental implants. It also covered bone preservation and ridge augmentation grafting and connective tissue grafting.
Upon completing this course, Dr. Garrett recieved a Fellowship Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICIO).
He is also a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, which is an organization for general dentists that are committed to continuing education.
An active member of First Baptist Church, Dr. Garrett resides in Wilmington with his wife, Mandy, and their two boys.
